Chapter One

I lick my lips and prepare myself. Chocolate is delicious, and I'm covered in it. I begin to ravish myself, using small simple tongue flicks to devour the chocolate. I'm very pleased.
My dog walks in, whimpering of course. How rude. There I was enjoying the bountiful feast that was my naked chocolate body, and I didn't invite him. I turn on my back, and let him lick the back of my calves. A fun time indeed.
I blink my eyes and look out at the U.N. assembly. The fugue state is over. I have no idea how long it lasted. I continue my talk.
"The machines aren't taking over the world," I say. "They aren't trying to. It doesn't work that way. It's not like the old movies your grandparents used to watch. The line between ourselves and the machines has grown very thin. It's non-existent. We live in a cloud of information. There is a question that we must answer. And that question is: are we human? "
I pause, feeling the bead of sweat trickling down my forehead.
