My Job
As Wikinovel's chief editor, my major job will be continuity: making sure the characters, scenes, diction, themes, all of it, stay on the same path. I'll also help a lot in the beginning with getting the story's skeleton going, and making some of the harder decisions that need to be made earlier to get the story moving. As Jeff Howell at Wired put it an email to me recently, that means that sometimes, I'll be your benevolent dictator making sure the train is still on the track.
