[edit] Creating Characters

Any characters you create need to be listed on the Characters page, with a brief description. Each character will have their own page that links from there, where they can be developed more thoroughly.
Do not, DO NOT, under any circumstances, create characters based entirely on or bearing the real names of living people. No exceptions.
Do not create or reuse characters you love from other books, TV shows, movies, etc. We probably love 'em, too, but they're not ours and we can't use them here. We're looking for completely, 100 percent, original work.

Our audience, unless there's a major consensus otherwise, is adult. However, we discourage the use of excessive profanity or words you won't find in movies under the PG-13 rating. You know what they are, so we don't have to tell you.
Sexual references should be germane to the story and the characters. Gratuitous sex for the sake of being gratuitious sex will probably be edited out.
